What's happening at Adorn this November
Most salons recommend having regular deep conditioning treatments, but have you ever wondered why? Conditioning treatments help bring life back into your hair, especially for dull, dry, frizzy hair. Cold weather and dry indoor heat tend to pull the moisture out of your hair, but regular conditioning treatments help combat that by adding moisture back into your hair. Deep conditioning treatments help fight breakage to make your hair stronger and healthier. Regularly using products and heat tools can cause your hair to become dry, dull, and frizzy, however regular conditioning helps keep hair shiny, strong, and smooth. The ingredients of salon-grade conditioners are able to penetrate deep into the hair cuticle, which will cause your hair to gain back its natural shine and luster. Deep conditioners are not all that much different than regular conditioners, they just have a higher concentration of the ingredients that help your hair. Also, deep conditioners should not be used daily. They should be used on a regular weekly or monthly basis. Between deep conditioning treatments, regular conditioner should be used when your hair is washed.

So now you know why conditioning treatments are good and why you should invest in them, but we feel like we should tell you about something else that is good and that you should invest in! This month we are hosting a food drive at Adorn Salon though Feeding America Southwest, so we can help feed the hungry in our community this Thanksgiving. The food drive will run November 1st though 19th. If you are interested in donating, please stop by during our regular business hours Monday-Friday, 9am-9pm, or bring it to your upcoming appointment. Suggested donations are- canned meats, vegetables, fruits, boxed stuffing, instant potatoes, or macaroni. Please come out, support and give back to our community! If you donate 3 or more items, you will be entered in a drawing to win 3 products of your choice. Winner will be announced at the end of November.
